After seven years at the helm of the green business organisation SYNERGI, Katrine Bjerre is stepping down as Managing Director – and the recruitment process for her successor is now underway.

After nearly seven years leading SYNERGI, Katrine Bjerre has decided to pursue new opportunities and will step down as Managing Director at the end of January. SYNERGI is now initiating the process of finding her successor.

“It has been a fantastic task and a great privilege to lead the establishment of a new green business organisation in Denmark. SYNERGI has been my passion for almost seven years, and I am proud of where the organisation stands today. With a dedicated and highly competent secretariat and a new chair of the board in place, this feels like the right time to pass the torch,” says Katrine Bjerre, outgoing Managing Director of SYNERGI.

She has been a central driving force in building SYNERGI, and under her leadership the organisation has made a strong and lasting mark on the energy efficiency agenda in both Denmark and Brussels. Katrine has been a unifying and influential voice for SYNERGI and its members. We are now launching the process to find the right profile to continue this important work, and we expect to have a new Managing Director in place by the end of January.”
