Google and SYNERGI are joining forces with a shared ambition: to ensure that the expansion of digital infrastructure - such as data centres and AI capacity - is achieved with the highest possible energy efficiency. Known for operating some of the world’s most energy-efficient data centres, Google joins SYNERGI to further support the clean energy transition in the manufacturing industry and share best practices from the data center industry.

In 2024, Google data centers delivered over six times more computing power per unit of electricity than just five years ago. This expertise and performance will now contribute to SYNERGI’s efforts to promote a greener and smarter digital infrastructure, as Google becomes the newest member of the organisation.

By joining SYNERGI, Google highlights its commitment to contribute positively to the green transition and share its experience in building and operating data centres with low energy consumption and a high rate of heat reuse.
